Solatube International and Kingspan Light + Air Illuminate Greenbuild 2023

The 2023 Greenbuild International Conference & Expo recently concluded, and it was a remarkable event that showcased the dedication of the green building movement to transform our built environment.

This year’s theme, “Building Transformation,” served as a powerful reminder of the industry’s enduring dedication to serving, preparing and safeguarding our communities within our ever-evolving world. Hosted by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in celebration of its 30th anniversary, Greenbuild 2023 also marked a historic milestone with the introduction of LEED v5, the latest iteration of the LEED green building program. LEED v5 champions critical principles encompassing decarbonization, equity, health, biodiversity and resilience within our built environment.

During the event, our team at Solatube International and our parent company, Kingspan Light + Air, proudly illuminated our shared commitment to sustainability, innovation and our overarching mission of delivering energy-efficient daylighting (as an interior source of lighting) to all with the well-being of people and the planet at its heart. 

From architects and builders to environmentalists and policymakers, Greenbuild 2023 brought together the brightest minds and boldest ideas, and reaffirmed our belief that transformational change is possible when we work together.

Among the week’s many highlights was the Kingspan Light + Air-sponsored happy hour, which provided a unique opportunity for Greenbuild attendees to connect, share insights and build relationships in a casual and inviting setting. It was a testament to Kingspan Light + Air’s commitment to fostering a sense of community within the sustainability industry. Attendees left the happy hour with a renewed sense of inspiration and a network of connections to carry forward into their work. It was an evening that embodied the spirit of Greenbuild.
